About Us

Our Story

RexburgHams began with a small group of Amateur Radio operators in southeast Idaho who wanted to share ideas with others. Todd N7TMS, Bob KB7WPS, Mike KJ7FX, Keland KM7G, and Ron K5CTR began by teaching a technician course and hosting an exam session for the students.

Since that humble beginning in 2013 the group has taught dozens of classes in Idaho and licensed or upgraded over 2000 operators all over the country.

Instruction Infrastructure

A workbook was born out of our desire to provide a quality learning experience for potential hams. The workbook, used in conjunction with the curriculum we developed, provides a student with a more immersive experience in the learning process. Along with a version of the presentation slide deck, it also includes some hands-on activities to reinforce amateur radio concepts.

He is passionate about teaching and sharing this avocation with others. He loves weekend contesting and sharpening his emergency communication skills. He also enjoys reading science fiction and spending time with his family.
